Easy Photo Cleaner
Terms of Use
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the iOS app "Easy Photo Cleaner" (the "App") provided by the App Provider. By using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to all relationships between the user and the App Provider regarding use of the App.
3. User Environment
The user is responsible, at the user's own cost, for preparing and maintaining the device, OS, network environment, power supply, and other environment necessary to use the App.
The App may become unavailable in whole or in part due to changes, defects, restrictions, or similar circumstances affecting the device, OS, iCloud, App Store, PhotoKit, or other external environment.
4. Information Displayed by the App
Storage estimates, categorization, deletion candidates, scan results, and expected organization effects displayed by the App are reference information only. Actual results may differ depending on photo and video sizes, iOS storage behavior, iCloud Photos settings, and the state of Recently Deleted items.
The App Provider does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of categorization results or storage estimates displayed by the App.
5. Deletion Operations
The App does not automatically delete photos or videos. Deletion proceeds only when the user reviews deletion candidates and explicitly initiates deletion.
The actual deletion process is performed through the iOS photo library and PhotoKit. Before deletion, iOS Photos shows a confirmation, and items are deleted only if the user approves the confirmation.
Users should back up important photos and videos before deleting them, such as by using iCloud, external storage, or another backup method.
6. Protected Items Feature
The App's protected items feature excludes selected items from deletion candidates inside the App. It does not lock, hide, encrypt, or make the underlying photos or videos undeletable.
The protected state is used only for the organization experience within the App. It does not restrict display or operations in the iOS Photos app or other apps.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not use the App in a way that violates laws or public order, interferes with App operation, or infringes third-party rights.
8. Intellectual Property
Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the App Provider or third parties that hold legitimate rights.
9. Relationship With Apple and the App Store
The App is provided through the App Store operated by Apple Inc. These Terms do not exclude the application of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the App Store standard terms, or other terms set by Apple.
10. Disclaimer
The App is provided as is. The App Provider does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, defect-free, free from categorization mistakes, or free from storage-estimation differences.
Except where the App Provider has acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or where liability cannot be disclaimed or limited under applicable law, the App Provider is not liable for damages arising in connection with use of the App beyond the scope of direct and ordinary damages actually incurred.
The user is responsible for checking and handling the results of user deletion of photos or videos, insufficient backups, user error, iOS or photo library behavior, iCloud Photos settings, or similar circumstances.
11. Changes or Suspension of the App
The App Provider may change, add to, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App as necessary.
12. Changes to These Terms
The App Provider may update these Terms as necessary. If there are material changes, the App Provider will provide notice in the App or on this page by reasonable means.
13. Notices and Contact Method
Notices or communications from the App Provider to users will be made through in-app display, posting on this page, display on the App Store, or another reasonable method.
Communications from users to the App Provider must be made through the contact form listed on this page.
14. No Assignment
The user may not assign, lend, pledge, or otherwise dispose of the user's status under these Terms or rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party without the App Provider's prior consent.
15. Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law or by a court, the remaining parts will continue in effect.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms, the court with jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
